How cool am I? It only took me three years to figure out how to add a way for people to subscribe to my blog - with a reader OR through email! I'm totally jazzed about this, folks!

So, for all my crazy fans out there - all three of you - you can now enter your email in that little box to the right ----------> and get an email each time I post an update.
Or if you're a blogger yourself and you want to follow along in a reader, there's an option for that just below the email option.

AND, AND, AND ... I'm even cool-er ... because there's also a little button to find me on Facebook as well. Can't say I'm that great at catching all the updates on fb ... its a little too time-consuming for my current life, but I do catch a few.

There's no stopping me now! :-)

Cool, Fun and Sad

Cool: This is my 300th post! Too bad I don't have one of those really great blogs with 4 million readers, free giveaways and such. Guess it sucks to be YOU right now! But, Thanks for reading my ramblings anyway!

Fun: Yesterday was a great day! Thanks to my mom (AKA Gummie), Ed and I were able to spend the entire day together. We went to the SETHSA homeschool conference, where we intended to spend the day. On a whim, however, we left around 3pm and headed south to Kemah! We ate an early dinner on the Boardwalk. Of all the days to not have my camera!! It was beautiful and so relaxing. Ed is a boat-fanatic, so sitting and watching all the different boats come in and out of the marina was right up his alley! It was fun to dream about what we (and by 'we' I really mean he, but I fully support him in this endeavor) hope to have one day.


Sad: Today, Jace got a fat lip. Its part of the age, but still so sad :-( Especially since it was MY FAULT! Argh! Once again, I'm out of the running for 'Mom of the Year.' Shucks. Gotta love the moments you feel especially competent. Or not. :-) Its worse than it looks, this was just the best shot we could get of the squirmy little man who was not as interested in striking a pose as we would have liked. Turkey.

I'm Back!

We FINALLY got internet (and TV!) hooked up at our new house today after waiting for over a month! I can take or leave the TV, but that's Ed's 'decompress zone,' so he's been in major withdrawal! As it turned out for me, my phone (with AT&T - an account I've had for 10+ years!) didn't work inside our house. I got a new phone (with AT&T) and a new SIM card, to no avail. So, I'm now a Verizon customer - and since I was getting a new phone, but didn't have internet, I opted for a BlackBerry. I'm trading it in tomorrow for a regular ol' phone, cause I just don't need it, but it sure filled a void nicely!!
Anyway, lots to catch up on. I'll be posting more soon! Oh, and I should mention that I have over 1000 blogs on bloglines ... so chances are pretty good I won't be able to catch up on all of the ones I read/subscribe to ... so if you posted something you don't think I should miss, PLEASE let me know!!!! :-)

New Fall Look

My "blog designer," Tiffany has been hard at work again! She makes my blog look so good, it looks like I actually pay her! I so should, but lucky for me, she's not only talented, she just enjoys it!
I'm lovin' the new fall colors - and updated picture of the kiddos! I even have music!

My sister-in-law, Stacey, hooked me up with her blog-designer-friend, Tiffany and I'm lovin' my new digs!!
I've never been hip on the templates blogger offered, but didn't have the time or talent to do anything different! So, thanks, Tiffany for the awesome work - and thanks, Stace for sharing your great resource!!
Now, I just need to get a better pic of my cutie foursome to go with my cool new design! Or better yet, a picture of the 6 of us, which has yet to be taken!! Nothing like a little incentive to get crackin' on some new pictures.
