Freedom Is Not Free

For those of you that don't know, my twin baby brothers (that are turning 22 next week) are both Marines. They are currently in D.C.

My mom gave me a hunky-Marine calendar for Christmas. No, my brothers aren't in it (although they could be!), but some other hottie Marines are. Check it out at www.freedomisnotfree.com and order one (or two). Regardless of your views of the war, our military deserve our respect and support. Proceeds benefit wounded servicemen, their families and the families of those who are fatally wounded. Its a good cause and some good "eye candy!" :-)

WOAH! For a second there I thought that maybe I had stumbled onto a Gay Porn Website!!!

I would be inclined to pruchase such a calendar however, I like my men to look like REAL men ...The prepubescent, hairless body of the guy on the cover does nothing for me. And, six-packs are over-rated. I don't want any guy who spends more time looking in the mirror than I do.

Sarah,
I agree totally! I thought I had typed in the web page wrong. I did a double take (and not in a good way). Personally I think those men are airbrushed, don't you?!?! There is nothing wrong with a little hair on the chest and a spare tire around the middle. AHHHH, that's the way I like them....I'm still trying to work on Ken's spare tire without much success.

Double Standard? I was on a conferece call at work when I read Sarah's comment, it was all I could do to keep my composure and not die laughing. This is the funniest thing I have ever read. I thought I might make a statment about the poor choices being made in regard to this calendar, but I think Sarah said it best.

My vote is for Mr. December, he looks like maybe the oldest one of the group. Some of the others look to close to my almost 20 year old.

New blog please.

Tired of looking at this guy who is obviously overcompensating for something ...

Well... just to set the record straight... these guys are all real Recon (special forces) Marines, most of them active duty, that's why they look like they do!
