The kids, Gummie and I had a great time baking cookies for Santa and a cake for Jesus!! Jakey was so funny when he asked, "HOW are we going to get Jesus' cake ALL the way to heaven?" He was thrilled to hear that we were going to eat it for Jesus (which is a good thing since I don't think Jesus is on a gluten free diet)! I tried a new cake mix and it was TERRIBLE...although, as you can see, Jadyn (who is my NON-eater), loved it!
The kids got a big kick out of singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and I think it made it easier for them to understand what Christmas really is...even in the midst of all the excitement of gifts-galore (which I'll blog about later!!).

When did you and Ed decide to have a 4th baby? I can see her lying on the couch in the background of one of the pictures. It doesn't look like you love her the way that you do the other three kids ...
