Jordan's new adventure

Jordan loves music and dancing. I've wanted to put her in a dance class for a long time now, but I'm not a fan of the way most dance studios approach things with little girls. I don't like the music they use, I don't care for the attempt to make little girls "sexy" and I disagree with many of the clothes! Fortunately, I found Grace Ballet Studio that emphasizes modesty and integrity! They have a strict dress code that is enforced. Plus, they are open to and have worked with kids with special needs. So, Jordan is attending a "trial" ballet class for 5-6 year olds Wednesday morning! One of the things I loved best about talking to the instructor is that she wanted Jordan to be with her same aged peers. That's always so important to me! Jordan is so excited...and so am I! I know she will love it! The bummer is that she is not eligible to participate in their spring recital because she is starting classes so late (they start in Sept). Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait til next year. And, enjoy her performances during American Idol for now! She is just too cute. And, in the words of my sister-in-law, Kelly, I'm not biased at all!
