We spent our 'free' Sunday working on the kids' rooms. We moved Jakey into Jordan's room, Jordan into Jadyn's room and Jadyn into Jake's room. Obviously, we didn't plan bedrooms well when we moved in! Jake's is still a work-in-progress since he got an additional twin bed and will be getting new bedding for his birthday from Grandma! Plus, we'll be hanging the 'headboards' on the wall, up to the ceiling. They are closet doors from a couple houses ago that my mom painted...and they're going to make super-cute headboards! All of the upstairs still needs painting, too! Jordan and Jake were thrilled with the arrangements and were great helps yesterday. Jadyn wasn't sure what to think about it all, but she did great with the transition. We considered for a brief moment converting her crib into a toddler bed, but decided against it. We've never been in a big hurry to move our kids out of their cribs. She's such a monkey, I really expected her to have climbed out by now...guess that's one plus to her peanut-size! She can't quite get that short little leg up onto the top rail!
We now feel like we have a space for overnight (or longer) guests. Jordan can sleep in Jake's room and our guests will get Jordan's room. So the race is on...who will be our first guest???

I have already made my reservation for the end of March. So perhaps I will be first! :) Can't wait.
The rooms look amazing. I love that idea for a headboard. May have to "borrow" it for Mary's room!
