Feel the Joy

One of the ministries I've blogged about before is Ruth Harbor here in Des Moines. It is a Christ-centered home & program for young women facing unplanned pregnancies. I think this is one of the coolest crisis pregnancy ministries I've heard of. They have House Parents - a couple that actually lives in the house with the ladies - who act as parents and role models for these women. The program provides food, housing, counseling, healthcare, spiritual guidance and more to the residents at no charge!

So, to help support this ministry, I'm participating in their Walk For Life on May 12. If you are interested in supporting this ministry with me, please let me know. You don't have to send me any money - they will bill you directly! My goal is to raise $500!
