It's Settled

I keep forgetting to post that we finally picked a name for our baby boy! I don't know why picking names is so difficult for us, but it has been every time. There's very few names Ed and I agree on - and even fewer that we both get excited about!

So, JACE ERIC its going to be!

Its been fun for the kids to call him baby Jace - I think its made it more real for them. They got to hear the hearbeat a few weeks ago and it was SO cute to see the looks on their faces! Priceless.
Everyone has agreed that it will be fun to help take care of Jace when he gets here ... Jordan and Jake have agreed to change diapers - as long as they aren't poopy - and Jadyn has said she'll even take on the poop! What a sport!

I wonder how long changing diapers will stay FUN!?!

I love it. I'm sure that your little helpers are going to get more and more excited as the days go by. I am so thrilled for you guys, and what a lucky baby Jace is to be blessed by such a wonderful family!

Oh, I love that name!!! Jenn is right, he will be blessed, so very blessed!!!
Atleast one of your kids will tackle the dirty ones! Mine like to throw them away, AFTER it gets put in a plastic bag! lol...

I love the name even though Ed didn't like my "J" suggestion of Josiah. You have an awesome tribe!

so glad you are settled! beware the tongue twister you have given yourself for years to come!! "jordan, jake, jadyn, and jace...time for dinner!" "jake, i mean jordan, no what ever your name is, come here!"(what great advice coming from me...) really i have not struggled with it too much yet and my mil says it doesn't matter if they all start with the same initial or not, the older you get the more you mix em up! personally i love the way all their names sound together and each of your beautiful children's names have proven to be so uniquely theirs and so fitting...i know jace's will be too. can't wait to put his face with his name!
