BLUE MAN!

Last night, Ed and I got to see the Blue Man group perform here in Iowa. Ed's cousin, Wes is one of the Blue Men and got us 4 free tickets and backstage passes! We took our good friends, Josh & Dara! We had GREAT seats...on the floor, but first row in the second section, so we had more leg room than necessary and we could see everything! We could even tell which Blue Man Wes was throughout the show!! We got to see him for a few minutes after the show and take some pictures, which was a ton of fun! (I took a disposable camera, just in case it got confiscated, so the pictures aren't the greatest) We also had Wes autograph our ticket stubs (their autographs are kisses...in blue, of course!) We had such a GREAT time. The show had some deep "lessons," if you will. The jist of it being that we all walk around with masks and cannot be our true selves until we can "climb" to the rooftop where we can be "free." All the symbolism was really interesting to me and I recognized the rooftop to be Christ...our true identity can only be revealed in Him! Its in Him that we can be our true authentic selves and truly be FREE! I'm sure its not the message they were trying to present, but God can speak through all kinds of people!

Looks like a great show, I will have to look for them when they come to Michigan! Isn't it great having a few hours out without the kids? I'm glad you guys had the opportunity.

Take Care,
Anne
