Thoughts from Ed....

Today it is snowing outside and I have the kids down in the basement. (Angela went to the store). When I turned on the computer screen, I found Angela had started typing a new Blog. I decide to complete a hostile take over of her Blog Site. As such here I am, I can think of a million things that would be sooooo funny to type, but instead I think I will tell everyone what a truly great wife and mother Angela really is. (like you did not already know this).

Angela is what every man would ever want. She is wonderful with the kids, She loves our kids so much. It amazes me every day just how much she is willing to do for them. She loves me so much it is truly amazing, and in the bedroom she is....... (ops, family blog site, better move on to the next item). Three years ago we lived in Houston, TX. We were close to family and had a very good life. Since then we have moved to Dallas, TX and Urbandale, IA. That's right we live in Iowa. I have had some great career opportunities the last few years and we ended up in Iowa. Each time Angela has supported me in the decision to move our family. I am so grateful to have Angela by my side. She is truly the better half (and the half, or 2/3's sometimes, that completes me). Lastly Angela's faith is so strong that it affects everyone she comes in touch with. I suspect her next Blog will be about a leadership retreat she took with our church this past weekend. I could go on and on about how incredible she is. I thank God every day for blessing me with her. I am still in awe of the fact that of all the people God could have chosen for Angela, that He chose me....

Gotta run, I hear her walking around upstairs, she just got back from the store.
If you have time please respond with your thoughts, I know Angela would love to hear (read) them.

Love Eddie (Ed for those of you that know me post 1997.)

( ps: I am sure writing in her blog will create Drama, Drama, Drama tonight at the Sustala Residence. It really bugs her when I get into her stuff :-) )

What an awesome way to bless your wife! I agree...she's pretty amazing and I'm so glad to call her a friend and ministry team member. Of course she's an awesome mom, organizer, friend and witness but what makes her extra special is that she puts up with a crazy husband!:) Just kidding Eduardo. Love you both.

Eddie, I totally agree.

But I also need to add that YOU are an AMAZING husband to her and a WONDERFUL father to your kids. You are one of the very few men I know who actually impresses me in those departments.

Words cannot express the love and warm that I have in my heart for Angela. I know that I have been truly blessed to have Angela in my life and in my family. I have said many times, and will say many times more, that your family is the light of my life. You know, I have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, but I can truly say that I really have three. I thank God everyday for her and Ed (and Jordan, Jakey, and Jadyn). I love ya'll (Texas slang) very, very much.

On another note. Judy, thanks to you for your guidance and love in molding Angela into the wonderful person that she is today.

Love ya, Mom
