Houston - Part 1

I'll have to blog our trip in multiple settings ... there's just so much! We began early on Thursday, July 19. We woke the kids up at 4:30 am for a 6:45 flight. Our goal was to leave the house by 5. Amazingly, the kids were SO excited about the trip, they all jumped up and dressed really quickly and we were out of the house by 4:50!
Oddly enough, this was Jordan's first time to fly, Jake's second and Jadyn's third! They did great on the plane - Jordan was a little nauseous, so she slept alot. Jake got to sit "by himself" (across the aisle from Eddie), so he thought he was hot stuff. He walked through security, explaining to Jordan what she needed to do (put her backpack on conveyor belt, take off her shoes, etc) - Mr. Frequent Flyer himself!


My mom picked us up from the airport and took us to her house, where we did a quick unload of our luggage and headed out to Baby Kylie's house. I mean, Stacey & Ken's house. As expected, Jordan was smitten with Kylie. A little more unexpected was just how taken the other two were with her as well. They were all so good and did a great job of loving on their new cousin!
