Happy Birthday, Dara!
Last week, our pastor's wife, Dara celebrated her birthday. I know she had a special day!
*Dara was the first person I met when we walked into our church the first time. She has such a bright smile and I heard a southern accent - an immediate friend!! She made us feel SO welcomed and I liked her in that instant!
*Dara has a contagious heart for the Lord. And a contagious laugh.
*She has 2 cute kids - Awnna and Colin and she is a wonderful, loving mom to them. I have watched her make big sacrifices for them and for her family.
*Dara always looks sharp - very well dressed at all times!
*Dara was homeschooled for 6th grade. She shared how much it meant to her that her mom put forth the effort to homeschool when I pulled Jordan out of school.
*Dara can cook. I have never left her house hungry OR without wanting a recipe!
*She also knows hospitality in a way few do. When you walk into her house, you immediately feel comfortable and at home.
*As if this isn't enough, she's also creative in so many ways. She sings, paints, scrapbooks, makes cards & has a serious interior-decorator gift! She and Josh could single-handedly build and decorate a house ... no kidding. And, there'd probably be a freshly cooked dinner on the table as well!
Happy belated birthday, Dara. Thanks for being such a wonderful blessing in our lives!!
